Personal Logo
Your personal logo says something imporant about you.
Your Personal logo should include:

An image that represents something important to you and that expresses your motto.   Image may be drawn on the computer, drawn on paper and scanned in (then traced and painted), or be traced and painted from an image you find on-line.

A motto - a short phrase that says something about your view on things; how you think people should act; how you see the world; how you think life should be lived...

A production name   (you do not need your own name…you can create a "business" name, such as "Rain Drops Productions", or "Horse Tail Incorporated ".
       
Before you Begin working on your Personal Logo:
Practice using PhotoDraw

Insert an image that you find on the Internet or scan to your "L" drive

Create two objects (square, circle…)

Change the fill and line of the objects

Create three different lines (straight, arrow, curved…)

Change the types of lines with the outline button.

Change the arrangement of three of the objects you have so that they are stacked over each other in the order you wish them to be in

Group at least three of the objects. Ungroup your grouping

Practice changing the border sizes of your image

Insert a text object that says something

Try creating your own text object with lines and fill.

Arrange everything in an attractive manner and group the lot.

Crop an edge away from your work of art

Use the cropping to cut out your whole object into a shape you choose

Use effects to blur or sharpen one or more of your images

Use transparency to make one or more of your images transparent.

Use fade out to funkify one of your images

Use 3-D on something

Use designer effects to change one or more image (play with this a bit)
  19 Practice tracing an object
  20 Practice painting an object, then moving the painted layer behind the tracing layer.

Save this document twice…once as a "mix" file, and once as a jpg

Go to explorer and notice the difference in sizes of the two files.
You are now ready to work on your personal Logo
Make sure that it is small enough to fit in the corner of whatever document or project you are working on.
Make sure that you save it as a .mix, a .jpg, and a .gif
