Alternatives for animal testing have been made. Dave Gibson believes that animal testing should be done on the prisoners in jail. He believes that they should have a chance to give something back to the world as for testing cosmetics on animals does not. He thinks that since the people in jail would be murderers, rapists, and child molesters ect. They should have to suffer through the pain that they have caused for other people they should have to know what they did to those innocent people and feel how much pain and suffering they felt.

I feel that testing products on people in prison is just as bad as testing them on animals. I feel that no one should have to go through that pain. Because what if one of those people in jail were not supposed to be in there what if something went wrong in the courts. Unless the person in jail had agreed to do the testing on them.

Most alternatives for animal testing you still have to use animals for the procedures. Some of these alternatives are to reduce the number of the animals that are used in these tests. Or you could also use an experiment to take away pain and stress from the animals to keep them as comfortable as possible.

Animals have rights too. They don't deserve to go through the pain and suffering of cosmetics being tested on them if they don't have to. How would you feel if you were that poor little animal? As I said before alternatives have been made. Even though most of the alternatives that have been made you still need animal testing for those alternatives to work, it would still reduce the amount of animal testing that needs to be done.

Some people believe that animals are too different from humans. It's too unsafe to test our products on animals. What if different side effects happen for animals then they would for us? We don't know. Who knows maybe the testing is a waste of time and maybe those animals are suffering for no reason. That is something that will have to be figured out in the long run.

What can happen to the animals that get tested on. Animals that have different and unsafe products tested on them can go blind, their eyes can bleed, they can get rashes and even some of them die.

What do the people that are testing the cosmetics on animals do to the animals? They strap them in chairs so that the animals can't take their paws and rub them on their eyes. Then they pull back the eyelids and pour the fluids into their eyes so that they can see if the animal will go blind, or if the animal will bleed or if anything will happen to the animal.
