Happy New Year! A couple quick messages to start off 2018 well for all.
From PAC:
I hope everyone has had a great holiday.
MEETING
There is a PAC meeting Jan 15th at 6:30pm. All parents and guardians are members of the PAC and are welcome to attend. Childminding will be available.
BOOK SALE
We have a used book sale coming up at the end of January. Bring in your gently used books (all age ranges) during the month of January and place them in the wooden box in the front foyer. At the end of the month, students will be able to choose up to 5 books (by donation) to take home. Each class will have the opportunity to go through the sale during the day and can drop in after school to purchase any remaining books. Sale will run 8:30-3:00pm. All monies will be donated to a local charity yet to be determined.
We will be looking for volunteers to do set up the day before and run the actual sale.
HOT LUNCH
If you haven't sent in payment for your child's hot lunch order please send it in with them tomorrow or pay online with PayPal to ensure your child gets their lunch next Tuesday (Jan 16). Thank you!
FUTURE FUNDRAISING
We are looking for volunteers to organize the Mother's Day sale and the Fun Fair. Both of these would be easier with a couple of people working together. There is a detailed list to follow for organizing and the executive is willing to support however we can. If you think you are able to help out please email us @ brooklynexec@gmail.com
FROZEN TREAT PUNCHCARDS
If you ordered a frozen treat punchcard through the hot lunch site they will be distributed in the classrooms this week.
Thank you for supporting your PAC.
