Boil Water Advisory Update Wednesday, December 17, 2014 -- Schools on the Courtenay Water System
December 11, 2014 11:50 AM

Boil Water Advisory Continues:

SD71 staff are in daily communication with municipal and Vancouver Island Health officials regarding the current water quality situation. Current data suggests that the boil water advisory will remain in effect through the end of the week. SD71 staff are continuing to deliver water to school sites and encourage parents to provide bottled water or other beverages to their children while this reality remains across our community. We thank you for your cooperation and patience.

Good Morning

An immediate mandatory boil water advisory is being issued to all schools on the Courtenay water system. The district will distribute bottled water to all schools, excluding: Huband, Vanier, Royston, Cumberland and Miracle Beach -- which are on a separate water system.
